The Fund Manager of the Year Awards (FMYA) take place as a celebration of the achievements of fund managers constantly shaping the future of the investment industry. This year’s award ceremony, held at the Royal Albert Hall as per last year, was accompanied by the traditional gala dinner and a great atmosphere.

As a sponsor of the event once again, it was great to attend and see all our creative designs whilst catching up with our clients- some of whom were nominated for prestigious awards. The welcome reception was held on the top floor of the Royal Albert Hall, with a balcony overlooking the entire reception area, setting an elegant tone for the rest of the event.

Dancers kicked-off the ceremony before a choir continued and keeping up with current trends, all attendees were given light-up fidget spinners. Throughout the ceremony, the main screen displayed live tweets using #FMYA2017, showing the increasing use of social media within the industry, which of course we fondly encourage! As the winners were announced, a choir sang whilst the live band played a different triumphant song for each award. With the celebrations going strong, it’s no wonder that the band was playing until 1AM.
After a great evening and as the hard work continues, we are now gearing up for 2018’s edition of the FMYA; we hope to see everyone there again!
