Airmic has once again agreed for us to produce the official TV channel for their annual Conference in June. We’d like to thank them as it’s an event that we really enjoy being part of across all the work we do. I especially enjoy AirmicTV as it offers a great opportunity to meet senior industry thinkers and learn about all the challenges confronting them over the coming year.
To which end I have been reading a fascinating book written by Klaus Schwabb, Founder and Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum. It is called The Fourth Industrial Revolution and in it he demonstrates how new technologies are fusing the physical, digital, biological and of course industrial worlds at both an economic and sociological level.
Harnessed correctly, he predicts a bold future; a new industrial revolution. However, he cautions that this will come with many potential risks at human, business and nation-state levels. Risks that will therefore affect every attendee at the Conference. It will be interesting, therefore, that with so many traditional and emerging markets directly affected; cyber, renewable energies, bio-tech, autonomous machinery/vehicles, IoT, artificial intelligence/machine learning being just a few, it will be fascinating to hear from those we interview about what lay ahead, not just at the ethereal level but how they are and will drive pragmatic change.
For those we will be filming, we cannot wait to meet old and new friends! In an effort to mix things up, we will be doing a lot more filming ahead of the event this year, so watch this space over the coming months for the first videos to be published.
As always, our crew will be onsite for the whole event, so if you have your own filming needs, we would be delighted to help you, before, during or even after.
In the meantime, if you’d like to read what Klaus Schwabb has to say, Amazon can help you.
